Patek Philippe 175th Anniversary – My Favorite New Collection
Patek Philippe high quality watches replica has indeed been around for a long time. They have conquered the world with their amazing ability to create, design and conceive unique and beautiful timepieces! Maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but it’s not.
For most watch lovers, there is at least one Patek Philippe watch that would become their “ultimate collection”, and mine is the 5140 Grand Complication. Its simplicity and unobtrusive size (not to mention its fit and finish) are its best qualities and what attracts me the most. But that’s enough for now. A few weeks ago, at the end of October, Patek Philippe held a celebration in Switzerland. As part of such an event, Patek Philippe released a series of watches dedicated to the 175th anniversary.
Patek Philippe celebrated its 175th anniversary with a limited edition commemorative model. The star of the collection is the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, a watch with 20 complications. This watch is technically very good and functionally very impressive, though it may not be the most attractive replica watches swiss in the entire collection.
For me, that would have to be the reference 5575G-001. Some of my peers have mentioned that it is difficult to read and too cluttered. I beg to differ.
The white gold case, which measures just under 40mm in diameter (39.8mm to be exact), houses the Caliber 240 HU LU movement, which is made up of 270 parts. It is a self-winding mechanical movement with a micro-rotor that displays the central moon phase and a 24-hour time zone. Not to mention a day/night indicator. So few parts, so many functions. The outer dial shows the cities, except for Geneva, which has replaced Paris as the usual time zone city. The smaller inner ring shows the time in a specified location in a 24-hour format, with a moon phase indicator in the central dial. You’ll also notice the interestingly shaped hour hand, which is shaped like a star. replica Breitling Endurance Pro Watches
Just so you don’t forget that this is an anniversary model, the clasp is engraved with Patek Philippe 1839-2014 and the Patek Philippe Calatrava cross. Even the caseback is engraved with “Patek Philippe 175e Anniversaire 1839-2014”. With all these extra touches, the watch is still water-resistant to 30 meters, although I have no idea why you would want to swim with this watch.
With all the engravings and constant reminders that this is a 175th anniversary edition, it does feel a bit desperate, and the problem is that it could have been more commercial, like Panerai and its many limited editions. But Patek Philippe did it quite tastefully, and this watch is sure to be sought after.
